Firstly, and most importantly, I'm a total Jesus Freak and proud of it. :)
I'm a vegetarian. I have been for about ten years. No, you will not change my mind. I will forever be a vegetarian so long as I have that option. Currently I am attempting to go vegan.
I love long-distance running, and I am training to run a marathon.
I just graduated from college and have a bachelor's degree in Animal Science with a Multi-area minor in Chemistry and Range/Wildlife Management. Since I'm quite possibly nuts I am considering Veterinary school. I may just shoot myself before I drown in Chemistry.
Animals have always been and will always be my life. I have spent most of my time rescuing and bettering the lives of animals around me.
Training mentally and emotionally damaged horses is a past time of mine. My dream is to own a horse rescue that helps troubled teens.
All my pictures I took myself. Most of them are of my personal pets. I do a bit of drawing but haven't quite mastered coloring on the computer. I'm learning though.

Or so were my thoughts when I was kicked in the stomach several hours ago by my friend's horse. I was letting our horses through a gate. Willow (friend's horse) circled around me to have me pet her face (and look for treats) while I waited for my horse to hurry and get over to us. When he did reach us he decided to be a freak and shoot past both Willow and me at a gallop. This resulted in her getting overly excited, whipping around to kick him, and me in the middle of their little game. Last night I was involved in a hit and run that resulted in damage to my truck. I had just finished jogging with Shay and was headed to the store for some groceries on my way home. I was sitting at a red light minding my own business and singing along to a song by Owl City. Shay was in the back seat of my truck with her front paws on the middle section to the front. Next thing I know I hear a loud BANG! followed by a sharp jolt as my truck was shoved forward. Shay was flung from the back seat into the front seat where she flattened out, ears back and wide-eyed. I Am Here Still Waiting

I received a text message today informing me that one of the kittens I bottle fed from 2-3 days old escaped her new owner's house and was run over and died. This kitten was about 3-4 months old now and was going to receive her last set of vaccines this coming week. I cannot believe she died so young. It's upsetting. I don't blame her new owner because bad and unfortunate things happen. I just wish it had not happened to my little Tifa. In a way I wonder if she would still be alive if I still had her.
